Therapeutic Massage

A therapeutic massage adding on my guasha tool. It is like a stone that is used for scraping the skin. It helps to break up knots and facial tissue so the muscles can move more freely. It does leave some red marks, which is the blood coming to the surface and will go away in a day or two. 

This is used along side of deep tissue massage and is not used the whole session. It is used on specific areas that are tense and need some additional attention.

Guasha

A therapeutic massage adding on my cupping tools. They are traditionally used in Chinese medicine. They are a suction cup that is used in place or moved around to break up stagnant areas. Over knots or fascial tissue that does not want to move.  It will leave what I call Octopus spots.  The area where the cup has been will be red because of increased blood flow to the area. It will go away in a day or two. 

This is used along side of deep tissue massage and is not used the whole session. It is used on specific areas that are tense and need some additional attention.

Choosing this option will let me know you would like me to use them during your session.

Cupping

This incorporates hot stones into the session. They are helpful when tissues are very tight allowing the stone to do the hard work of warming the tissues so the massage can get deeper into the tissue.  OR if you just like to be warm they are a great way to keep up the body temperature during the session. 

They can be used for part of or the whole session. Depending on your preference. 

Choosing this option will let me know you would like me to use them during your session.

Hot Stone Massage

This is a deep deep tissue massage that is performed with my feet. This allows me to provide up to 100% of my bodyweight when giving the massage. It is done with a table that is on the floor and requires that you are completely undressed for the type of draping that is required. You will be covered completely and only the part that I am working on will be uncovered, just like regular massage. 

Getting massage with feet allows for deeper pressure and can help relax the nervous system deeper while also improving posture, increasing circulation, and reducing stress.
